Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and garments
- Restock supplies in guest rooms or resident areas to maintain a fully stocked environment
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning and laundry processes to prevent accidents or damage
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning routines to the appropriate team members
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization throughout your shift
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of laundry procedures including washing techniques, stain removal, drying cycles, and dry cleaning processes
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to guest or resident needs
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
