Key Responsibilities
· Perform in-home EEG testing while ensuring patient comfort and care.
· Complete ordered procedures accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
· Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff.
· Input patient demographics and exam details for Neurologist review.
· Maintain and operate EEG equipment, take patient history, and integrate all aspects of care for all age groups.
· Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- CPR/BLS Certification
- 1+ year of medical experience (healthcare, neurology, or EEG-related preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 15 lbs; sit or stand for extended periods
- On-call availability: One weekend per month
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (travel radius up to 2 hours )
Preferred Qualifications
- Postsecondary study or Associate’s Degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or a health-related field
- ABRET Certification (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists)
