Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes while supporting production, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes, workflows, and production methods.
- Support aerospace manufacturing operations involving sheet metal, machining, and assembly.
- Review and interpret 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to manufacturing processes and inspection requirements.
- Identify production issues and implement process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Support tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Utilize SAP and other manufacturing systems for production-related activities and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an aerospace or similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience with sheet metal, machining, and assembly processes.
- Strong ability to interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Solid understanding of GD&T.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP/manufacturing systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite production environment.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Skills
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience with process improvement/continuous improvement.
- Experience supporting production floor operations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
- Experience working in a regulated, high-quality manufacturing environment.
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour

- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing): 5 years (Required)
- 2D & 3D Drawing: 5 years (Required)
- SAP : 5 years (Preferred)
- Sheet Metal, Machining, Assembly: 5 years (Preferred)
- Aerospace background: 2 years (Required)
