Hands & Hearts Drumming is seeking Enthusiastic & Fun P/T Drum/Music Instructors to teach preschool & after-school K-5 enrichment classes. *These positions start asap and continue through Fall.
Our Drum Instructors travel to various preschool & elementary school locations in & around the Portland, Beaverton, Vancouver areas & teach introductory djembe drum classes to preschool & elementary students.
*We are also seeking Enthusiastic & Passionate Substitute Teachers for preschool & K-5 music classes! Come have fun with us and the students! It will be the best part of your day!
Applicants with music & teaching experience along with strong classroom management experience with the ability to teach introductory djembe/percussion classes (or be trained) are strongly preferred.

Qualifications:
Passionate about providing music education opportunities for preschool & elementary students.
- At least two years experience teaching children
- Positive Behavior Classroom Management experience
- Exceptional time management & communication skills
- Ability to work with both children, parents, & clients
- Ability to pass a strict background check
- Dependable transportation for work
- Positive outlook and collaborative disposition
- Ability to load and unload multiple bags of drums & instruments up to 20lbs each
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in elementary or music'
