Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across residential spaces.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments.
- Use cleaning detergents and supplies safely while adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping with knowledge of janitorial or custodial practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, outdoor work experience, and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures, cleaning detergents, and proper manual handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work as needed.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is preferred but not required.
