JOB Open communication with Housing and THRIVE Staff. Remain in good standing with the University and THRIVE (i.e. not on disciplinary or academic probation). At all times act as a positive representative for the University and THRIVE. Actively participate in THRIVE committees. Remain in your residence hall all but four nights per month, with no more than three consecutive absences, without your supervisor’s approval. At least three mentors need to be in the residence hall every evening/night. THRIVE Mentors will attend and participate in appropriate THRIVE and Housing staff training. During emergency situations, at least half the staff will be required. If the Mentor is terminated or chooses to resign from his/her THRIVE position prior to the end of the academic year, with the balance of the housing contract payable by the former mentor. If he/she chooses to move of campus, he/she will forfeit his/her housing deposit and be penalized for breaking his/her housing agreement. Other duties as assigned.
