THE OPPORTUNITY
Parnell is on an exciting growth trajectory and we’re looking for Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Menomonie WI, manufacturing facility.
Due to our continued success and growth, we are seeking a hard-working individual who demonstrates a positive attitude and possesses strong Maintenance experience.
The role will report directly to the Production and Facilities Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Ensures compliance with all applicable FDA regulations (GMPs), ICH Guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Working with Production, Quality, and Process Engineering, establish and maintain a Maintenance and Calibration program at the Wisconsin site and execute it through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Troubleshoot machinery and facility issues in a safe and efficient manner, practicing Lock-Out Tag-Out procedure appropriately.
- Help Process Engineering and Operations groups facilitate the acquisition of equipment as needed.
- Assist in defining specifications and acquisition of equipment as needed.
- Coordinate the commissioning/installation of equipment, working with Validation, and ensure proper start-up. Assist in Installation, Operational, and Process Performance (IOPQ) validation execution and data recordings.
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams to support internal/external technology transfer activities.
- Reinforce safety practices/behaviors through work and contribute to the safety culture.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from management.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
ABOUT YOU
You're a proactive, solutions-focused and enthusiastic who takes pride in your work and thrives in a fast paced, regulated enviroment. You bring:
- Trade qualification or degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician (or equivalent) in a pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or other GMP-regulated industry.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, utilities, and process equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and proficient in technical writing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn new processes and support changing objectives
- Forklift and scissor lift experience desirable
Physical Demands:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined quarters. The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
