Pet Stylist/Groomer
Casa de Pets is Grand Junction’s premier pet grooming shop paying top
percentage commission to the valley’s most talented Groomers.
Casa de Pets is seeking both part-time and full-time, organized Groomers to
join our 4-day workweek team.
Casa provides all tables, shampoos, nail polish, bandannas, bows, scents,
and basic consumable pet grooming supplies. Professional Groomers are
responsible for providing clippers, scissors, shears, brushes, combs, and any
other tools you might need.
*A commission-based pay structure means groomers are in control of
your own salary. Pay is contingent upon the number of pets groomed,
quality, and how well you build rapport with pet parents.
* So essentially, the earning potential is unlimited!
The ideal candidate possesses Exceptional animal handling skills, 2-3 years
of hand scissoring experience, 2-5 years of diverse grooming/stylist
experience, the ability to groom 5+ dogs per day.
You have a well-rounded understanding of dogs, and the grooming process,
including breed specifics, personality traits, and clip style.
You’ll need excellent finishing techniques with a primary emphasis on hand
scissoring, written, verbal, and customer service communication skills,
ability to follow direction, ability to communicate with clients and salon
members to achieve requested services in the prescribed time-frame.

grooming process, while managing your time in a fast-paced environment.

services ensure that each pet receives personalized service.
Minimum requirements include: positive mental attitude, self-motivated,
open-minded, high energy, fun-loving, approach to life.
Applicants should be generally knowledgeable about the common dog
breeds, know the standard cuts, and be able to properly handle and restrain
the various dog breeds.
Providing a current grooming portfolio is recommended.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
