The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented administrative professional with demonstrated experience supporting nursing leadership, education programs, academic operations, or complex healthcare environments. This individual excels at managing multiple priorities, coordinating large-scale projects and events, and providing exceptional administrative support while maintaining a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Successful candidates will possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, presentation development, calendar management, project coordination, and professional business communication. Experience supporting nurse educators, nursing leadership, faculty, trainees, or healthcare professionals is highly preferred. The ability to coordinate educational programs, onboarding initiatives, training activities, and departmental operations while effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
The ideal candidate must be able to work Monday-Friday from 8am-430pm, 100% onsite role.
Hourly breakdown of salary range: Minimum $21.87 - Midpoint $27.40 - Maximum $32.93

Key Responsibilities
- Performs complex administrative duties.
- Composes formal and informal correspondence.
- Creates and formats presentations.
- Coordinates human resources activities for the department.
- Interprets institutional policies for employees.
- Monitors and balances company center budget activity.
- Ensures timely submission of required reports/documents for manuscripts and grants by tracking stages, alerting investigators and initiating response process.
- Participates and assists in the patient care process by handling telephone calls from patients, referring physicians, care centers and new patient referral.
- Assists the faculty in building or maintaining their referral practice by providing professional and supportive assistance to new patients and referring physicians.
- Coordinates and maintains trainee, fellowship, observer and/or visitor programs for the department.
- Responsible for departmental purchasing.
- Develops and determines priorities and monitors status of special project.
- Directs and coordinates all project activities through delegated subordinates and establishes budget control systems to control expenditures.
- Special projects including planning and implementing information systems and/or grant and contract preparations.
- Assists in strategic planning for department.
- Coordinates functions including maintenance of physical plant, physical inventory and space planning.
EDUCATION

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred: Associate's Degree or

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required: 5 years Administrative/secretarial experience. or

Required: 3 years Required experience with Associate's degree. or

Required: 1 year Required experience with Bachelor's degree.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
