```Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about childhood development and have experience working with children.
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Help create a safe and nurturing environment for students
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing the classroom, and maintaining cleanliness
- Support students during transitions between activities
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
