Overview
Core Responsibilities
- Guest Room Cleaning: Changing bed linens, making beds, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Bathroom Sanitation: Thoroughly disinfect and clean toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and mirrors.
- Restocking Amenities: Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, coffee, glassware, and paper products.
- Trash & Linen Handling: Remove garbage and gather soiled laundry.
- Maintenance & Security: Report broken appliances, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management. Log any lost and found items according to hotel protocol.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds. Housekeepers often clean anywhere from 10 to 13 rooms per shift
- Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet specific room turnaround times.
- Attention to Detail: High standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Customer Service: Courteous and professional when interacting with guests and responding to requests (e.g., delivering extra towels)
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
