Senior AI Platform Engineer
Position Summary
The Senior AI Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and operationalizing enterprise AI capabilities that support our customer's Enterprise AI Platform. This role partners closely with Enterprise Architecture to build reusable AI services, governance capabilities, intelligent automation, and agentic AI solutions that enable secure and scalable adoption of Artificial Intelligence across the Infrastructure organization.
The engineer will contribute to enterprise platform development, AI integrations, governance implementation, automation, and AI solution delivery while supporting current and future enterprise-approved AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise AI Platform
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise AI platform capabilities.
- Configure and integrate enterprise-approved AI platforms and services.
- Develop reusable AI services, APIs, and integration components.
- Build scalable AI solutions supporting enterprise adoption.
Agentic AI Development
- Design and develop intelligent agents and AI-driven automation solutions.
- Build reusable agent frameworks and orchestration workflows.
- Develop AI-assisted operational processes and intelligent automation capabilities.
- Create reference implementations supporting enterprise AI use cases.
AI Integration & Automation
- Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise platforms and operational systems.
- Develop APIs, connectors, and integration services.
- Build AI workflows supporting Infrastructure operations.
- Implement automation using enterprise AI services.
Governance & Standards
- Implement enterprise AI governance and security standards.
- Apply Responsible AI principles and enterprise security requirements.
- Develop reusable implementation patterns and technical documentation.
- Support AI lifecycle management and operational readiness.
Innovation
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and enterprise capabilities.
- Develop proof-of-concepts supporting business priorities.
- Recommend platform enhancements and reusable enterprise services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Enterprise AI Platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry is required.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including the design and development of custom copilots and agentic AI solutions, is required.
- Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, Azure services, or comparable integration technologies.
- Experience developing AI-enabled automation and orchestration solutions.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, and governance principles.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Services.
- Experience with ChatGPT Enterprise, Anthropic Claude, Palantir Foundry, or other enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience building Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations and AI connectors.
- Experience with Python, C#, Power Platform, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience implementing Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks.
- Microsoft AI, Azure, or Power Platform certifications.
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
