Cardiology FT/PT Position
Seeking a motivated self-starter Medical Assistant for our growing busy private cardiology practice.
Everyday tasks below:
1. Greeting patients upon arrival. Verifying insurance, collecting balances & co-pays.
2. Scheduling clinic appointments & outside appointments for imaging or referrals.
3. Computer savvy. Ability to maneuver within different online healthcare portals gathering patient documents & uploading into our HER/ eClinical Works..
4. Taking manual vital signs, history, medication reconciliation & performing EKGs.
5. Have the ability to learn our most common Cardiology procedures & medications.
6. Work ethic is Important. Conscience about being on time & being 'present' while at work.
Current CPR/BLS certification
Current Certified Medical Assistant (Clinical or Admin) with experience is preferred.
