At Hilton Garden Inn Evanston, we take pride in serving high-quality, delicious meals that delight our guests. We’re currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our restaurant team and support daily culinary operations with professionalism and consistency.
Position Overview:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to Hilton brand standards, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This role is vital in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our hotel guests and restaurant patrons.

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and brand standards.
- Ensure consistent food presentation, taste, and portion control.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing inventory.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food delivery.
- Follow opening and closing kitchen procedures.
- Support banquet and special event food preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional cooking experience preferred.
- Food Handler's Certification
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Creative and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible with working hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
