Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Systems Architect to provide advanced application architecture, development, integration, and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
The resource will serve as both a Dynamics 365 Architect and hands-on Developer, supporting the design, development, enhancement, testing, implementation, deployment, documentation, and maintenance of enterprise applications and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, test, implement, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Lead technical architecture and development activities for complex application initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
- Design and document technical architecture solutions spanning multiple platforms.
- Design integrations involving APIs, authentication, data exchange, and cloud platforms.
- Develop and support Power Platform solutions, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages.
- Provide advanced technical support for Dynamics 365, Azure, and application environments.
- Work with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Define, communicate, and manage CI/CD and release management processes.
- Identify technical risks, issues, dependencies, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support infrastructure, networking, integrations, and application environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues under pressure.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, instructions, reports, and presentations.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members.
- Support application releases, updates, enhancements, and modifications.
- Resolve complex technical problems in a timely manner while identifying optimal solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
- 3+ years of experience in technical or solution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience with Power Platform solutions, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure platform technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
- 3+ years of data architecture experience.
- 5+ years of infrastructure, networking, and application support experience.
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Azure, and application support experience.
- 5+ years of technical customer service or application support experience.
- Strong experience designing and documenting technical architectures across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of system integration, authentication, APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and release management.
- Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills.
- Strong technical risk and issue identification capabilities.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical terminology appropriately to different audiences.
- Ability to work effectively on highly complex assignments in a high-pressure environment.
Position Requirements:
- Hybrid position; remote-only work is not available.
- Onsite work is required from day one, two days per week.
- Regular onsite days are Monday and Tuesday.
- Candidates must be located within 100 miles of Lansing, MI at the time of submission.
- Candidates must be available for an in-person interview if selected for the second round.
- The position requires hands-on experience in both Dynamics 365 architecture and development.
