Performs a variety of semi-skilled and manual labor necessary for the maintenance of the facilities, grounds, and highways within the Caver County Public Works Highway System. This is a seasonal non-exempt position. There is neither a guarantee of continual hours or guarantee of future employment, nor County benefits, except as mandated by state and federal law or as specifically referenced in the Personnel Policy Manual. Employment will preferably start 5/10/2026 and will not exceed 9/1/2026.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
All applications will be screened for minimum qualifications, scored and ranked. The highest ranked candidates meeting minimum qualifications will be recommended for the scored oral examinations (interviews). Final selection for the position will include successful completion of oral interview(s), reference checks, background investigation, and pre-placement physical.
