Job Summary
We are seeking a fun and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately.
- Assess patient vital signs and medical history.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygiene license with current state registration or certification.
- Proven experience working as a dental hygienist
- Knowledge of dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices, healthcare infection prevention, and aseptic techniques.
- Providing clear patient education on dental care.
Pay is negotiable based on experience and we are not opposed to a new graduate if it is the right fit.
