We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions securely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests
- Assist in food service when needed, including serving dishes at tables or during catering events
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
Requirements
- Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or upscale environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development and spirits expertise to craft innovative drinks
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for sales tracking, and food safety knowledge for proper handling procedures
- Previous experience with banquet service or catering is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food handling standards and adherence to health regulations is essential
- Hospitality industry experience that demonstrates adaptability, teamwork, and professionalism
