Real Estate Sales Trainee
About the Role
We are hiring motivated individuals to enter real estate sales through a structured training and development track. This is a performance-based, commission-only role designed for individuals who are comfortable with variable income tied directly to results.
You will learn how to generate leads, consult with clients, show properties, and close residential transactions. Success in this role depends on consistent activity, follow-up, and the ability to convert opportunities into closed deals.
Training & Support
- Onboarding and sales training provided
- Scripts, systems, and process guidance
- CRM and lead management tools
- Ongoing coaching and accountability
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients via calls, email, and other outreach
- Follow up with inbound and outbound leads
- Qualify clients and manage them through the sales pipeline
- Conduct property showings and consultations
- Assist with offers, negotiations, and contract management
- Maintain accurate records and track performance metrics
Requirements
- Active Real Estate License or willingness to obtain one before closing transactions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized with consistent follow-up habits
- Comfortable working in a commission-only, results-driven environment
- Ability to learn CRM and sales systems quickly
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (flexibility required based on client needs, including evenings/weekends)
Important Notes
- This is not a salaried position. Income depends entirely on performance and closings.
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W-2 position.
- Earnings vary based on effort, skill, and market conditions.
Compensation
- Commission-only (1099 independent contractor)
- 15% of gross commission income (GCI) per closed transaction
- Average commission per closing: ~$3,700
- Average GCI per deal: ~$24,000+
- Estimated annual earnings: ~$75,000 – $135,000+ (based on closings and performance; not guaranteed)
