Correctional officers:
*Enforces all institutional policies, rules, procedures and regulations necessary for management of offenders and the maintenance of public safety.
*Supervise the daily activities of inmates, ensuring that inmates obey the rules, and account for offenders by conducting random counts.
*Provide security for facility entrances to screen visitors.
*Prepare, process, and maintain forms, reports, logs, records and activity.
*Escort offenders tp their programs, work detail, between the institution and courtrooms, medical facilities, and other destinations.
