What You’ll Be Doing:

Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.

Manage restaurant reservations, guest seating, and waitlists.

Accurately communicate estimated wait times to guests.

Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.

Coordinate seating to ensure an efficient flow of service and appropriate distribution among servers.

Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.

Respond to guest questions regarding restaurant hours, menu offerings, reservations, resort amenities, and other general information.

Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming host stand and restaurant entrance.

Communicate guest requests, special occasions, dietary concerns, and other relevant information to servers and restaurant leadership.

Monitor the dining room and communicate table availability with restaurant staff.

Provide exceptional guest service and promptly address guest questions or concerns, involving a supervisor or manager when appropriate.

Assist servers, bussers, and other restaurant team members with light duties when needed to support smooth operations.

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.

Follow all resort and restaurant policies, procedures, safety standards, and service expectations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
