American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit at a hospital in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

36-bed general surgery and trauma unit operating as a Stepdown/Intermediate Care setting
-
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
13-week contract with holiday commitment required

EMR: Cerner OneChart
-
Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
Current BLS certification required (AHA-issued)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
MOAB De-Escalation Training required

Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references required for consideration

Provides nursing care to general surgery and trauma patients in a stepdown/intermediate care environment

Ceil blue scrubs required

Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible only at a reduced pay rate
