ANTICIPATED RESPONSIBILITIES
· Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on the task
· Clean and grind surfaces in preparation for weld
· Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
· Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
· Weld beams, plates, studs, and rebar according to plan specs
· Assist in all aspects of the shoring and drilling operation
REQIREMENTS
· Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (SMAW, MIG, etc.)
· Experience using saws, grinders, squares, calipers, rulers, clamps, etc.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
· Knowledge of safety standards and willing to use PPE (welding hood, face shield, gloves, etc.)
· Structural welding certification
· Willing to work 10+ hour days and Saturdays
· Have reliable transportation to and from work
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
· Can work in adverse weather conditions including cold temperatures and heat above 100 degrees
· Background check and drug screening are required. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
