Position: Seasonal Sales Associate
Location: Minnesota State Fairgrounds
Dates: August 27-September 7, 2026
Job description:
We provide retail merchandise services for the Minnesota State Fair and have multiple locations throughout the fairgrounds for employees to work.
Seasonal Sales Associates will be hired to work throughout the Minnesota State Fair. Applicants must be available to work assigned shifts during the 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair.
We are looking for people who enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Candidates should also be customer driven and able to have fun during their work day. Retail experience is not required, cashier experience is a plus.
Job responsibilities:
● Assist customers in finding and selecting merchandise
● Restock and reorganize merchandise throughout the course of shift
● Serve as a cashier at the point of sales
Work requirements:
● Must be 16 years or older to apply
● No prior retail experience required
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
● Ability to work while standing for extended amounts of time
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.50 per hour
