Job Summary:
Coordinate the receipt, warehousing, and distribution goods and materials
Essential Job Functions:

Oversee and coordinate the movement of received parts and materials to designated areas

Coordinate the supply of parts and materials to assembly areas or designated workstations, as needed
-
Monitor inventories; verify quantities, proper labeling, implement containment action, notify supervisor of discrepancies
-
Perform visual inspections, per established quality control procedures
-
Determine and execute the appropriate material transaction for materials and finished goods
-
Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks
-
Oversee the inspection of received shipments for transit damage and verify quantities, in compliance with SRI standards
-
Oversee the inspection of finished good shipments for transit and verify quantities, in compliance with customer specifications
-
Oversee the pulling and deliver of goods and materials to appropriate stocking locations or designated areas
-
Coordinate the scanning, labeling, and wrapping of finished goods on skids
-
Coordinate the labeling and scanning of UPS and FedEx shipments
-
Coordinate cycle counting of parts, as needed and scheduled
-
Coordinate the hand shrink wrapping of bins/boxes on skids
-
Oversee sets up and sending of ASN’s
-
Oversee printing of shipment paperwork
-
Train new employees
-
Manage are adherence to 5S systems and expectations (internal and external working areas – including skid yard)

Interface with customer service
-
Ensure accuracy of team time cards
-
Ensure and adhere to requirements and behaviors of a safe work place
-
Fill gaps in staffing
-
Support warehouse equipment and supply gaps
-
Oversee completion of preventive maintenance and repair of manual moving equipment

Manage the shift IRT

Prior material handling experience in a warehouse setting
-
Experience in the operations of lift trucks and other material handling equipment
-
Ability to stand or stand and walk for up to eight hours per shift
-
Prior experience entering and retrieving information using a computerized warehouse system
-
Knowledge and experience using weigh counting systems
-
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading
-
Experience in the operation of powered lift trucks and other material handling equipment - preferred
Minimum Education required:
-
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required:
-
Must be able to lift packages of approximately 45 pounds or as determined by the warehouse manager, within the guidelines of OSHA
-
A valid drivers’ license

Forklift experience

Previous data entry experience
