Our substance use disorder inpatient, co-occurring capable, treatment facility, Mountain Manor Emmitsburg, is a dynamic, mission-driven environment where compassionate care and clinical collaboration thrive. At Mountain Manor, all staff work closely together to provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports clients on their path toward wellness and recovery. We are currently seeking a full-time Driver to transport patients to and from our facility.
Patient Transport Driver
We are seeking a full-time patient transport driver to join our team in our Emmitsburg, Maryland inpatient facility. The general schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, but may include some weekends, holidays, and evening hours depending on the transportation schedule. On call availability is a plus! The general responsibilities for this role include:
- Pick up and transport patients to and from home and other facilities (hospitals, programs, etc)
- Transport patients to various appointments (i.e. court dates, doctor appointments, etc) as instructed by the transportation supervisor
- Maintain positive interactions while monitoring and directing patient behavior
- Maintain safe environment during transports
- Communicate all pertinent information regarding the patients’ behavior to transportation supervisor and counselor. Report all unusual incidents on problematic circumstances to the clinical department

What We’re Looking For
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with adults with substance use or co-occurring mental health concerns is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
