J. Viggiano & Company Furniture Delivery, LLC is a white glove furniture delivery service accommodating the tri-state area (Philadelphia metropolitan area) and New York. We specialize in high-end delivery service of premium furniture and services that cater to the Interior Design trade, including transport of antiques and art, comprehensive receiving service, warehousing, delivery, and furniture installation. We also offer storage for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Unpacking, Inspecting Furniture and wrapping for storage
- Photographing furniture
- assist in loading trucks for daily deliveries, unloading incoming freight from haulers
Requirements:
- Dependable
- Detail oriented
- Clean appearance and good hygiene a must
- Must read, write and speak English
- Drivers license
- Strong customer service skills
- lift up to 200 lbs
- perform minor glue repairs
- perform minor veneer repairs using proper fillers and burn-ins etc.
- perform sanding, color-matching
- Knowledge of various chemicals for cleaning, buffing and blending
- Must be able to work alone and unsupervised from time to time; self starter
Hourly Rate: Start at $15.00 to 18.00 depending upon skills and experience; review after 90 days'
