*This is a fully remote position. Must reside in New York*
Please only apply if you're seeking a part-time remote position and have a valid New York State, MHC-LP (Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit). Preference given to individuals certified in EMDR.
This is a slow build position where you create your own schedule and work with our practice to build your virtual telehealth caseload from zero clients to your preferred max. This position includes supervision hours, as well as a team that cares about their clients and clinicians. Thank you!
Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Provide individual, couples and family therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health concerns
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field through ongoing clinical research
Requirements:
- Valid New York State, MHC-LP (Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit)
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation *we require all notes to be completed within 72 hours of a session.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
