Summary:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator at CAF America coordinates and ensurse that HR practices and objectives are provided in a people-centered, supportive culture that emphasizes collaboration and partnership. This role supports activities related to the recruitment and ongoing development of a high-performing workforce, onboarding and orientation, learning and development, wellness, employee engagement and recognition activities and other duties and projects as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides front-line HR support to all levels of management and staff on a variety of topics, with an emphasis on recruitment, employee engagement, wellness, and learning and development.
- Supports Recruitment activities including posting job advertisements, coordinating interview schedules, following up on interview activities and gathering feedback. Maintain the recruitment tracker. Prepares and sends offer letters. Leads recruitment including intake, screening and interviewing and partners with hiring managers for assigned job openings.
- Maintain knowledge of CAF-A focused HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform and advise employees in HR-related practices. Research responses and follows-up with staff. Triages and refers complex concerns to the HR Manager.
- Coordinates the HR Newsletter, Wellness and Employee Engagement activities. Collaborates cross-departmentally as requested on large scale events such as ATD.
- Coordinates onboarding and orientation programs for new employees. Coordinates offboarding and equipment return.
- Supports the Organizational Development Specialist with activities related to LMS, training development and presentation, and assigned projects.
- Works with the HR Administrator on assigned projects.
- Maintains and updates the HR drive, and HCM\HRIS systems. Regularly audits and archives files as needed.
- Provides an excellent experience when interacting with and solutioning candidate- and employee-facing activities.
- Provides standard reports on a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years+ of supporting HR activities. Experience working in a multi-state environment preferred.
- Knowledge of HR processes and services including foundational HR regulations, requirements and best practices.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving; focusing on root-cause approaches for long-term resolutions. Ability to work independently, prioritizing and organizing workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail; demonstrates an elevated level of judgment and discretion. Able to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Hands on experience with HCM\HRIS tools.

Salary Range - $64,000 - $69,000
