Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Scheduler - Docket Clerk to join our dynamic legal support team. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update court dockets, calendars, and case schedules with precision and efficiency
- Coordinate with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and others as necessary to schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings
- Review legal documents for accuracy and completeness before docketing or filing
- Assist in preparing and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and reports for clarity and accuracy
- Handle confidential information with discretion while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in legal support roles, including docketing, scheduling, or administrative assistance within a law office setting
- Familiarity with various areas of law is a plus
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and document review
- Docketly experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and filing processes
- Effective communication skills for legal personnel interaction and interdepartmental coordination
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times
