Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, industrial, or residential spaces using various cleaning tools and chemical agents
- Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation with precision and care
- Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other floor care equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and shine
- Safely lift and move heavy cleaning supplies or equipment following proper lifting practices to prevent injury
- Use chemical agents responsibly, adhering to safety protocols for handling and storage to ensure a safe work environment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair, supporting overall facilities maintenance
- Assist with light painting or minor repairs as needed to uphold the facility’s appearance and functionality
