About Us:
Adolescent Consultation Services (ACS), a nonprofit mental health agency serving the Middlesex County Juvenile Courts of Massachusetts, is seeking diverse qualified applicants for a part-time mental health clinician position. ACS provides evaluation, consultation, and treatment services to the juvenile courts in Cambridge, Framingham, Lowell, and Waltham. This position focuses on the treatment services and is based in Lowell with the possibility of occasional coverage at our other site.

Essential Functions:
- Conduct intake screenings and assessments for court-involved and at-risk youth referred by schools, courts, or the District Attorney’s office within Middlesex County.
- Provide individual and family therapy, both in person and/or via telehealth.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups, both in person and/or via telehealth, as needed.
- Communicate with juvenile court staff, attorneys, schools, the District Attorney’s office, the Department of Children and Families, and other stakeholders, to provide consultation and coordination of care.
- Assist families with referrals to behavioral health providers and/or other therapeutic and community services, as needed.
- Maintain clinical documentation, including, but not limited to, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, case management notes, and memorandums to the juvenile court.
- Supervise student trainees, as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Current Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC required.
- A minimum of five years of experience working in the field of mental health.
- Essential knowledge and experience include a background in child development, strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of services available for children and families, and experience working with at-risk youth and families.
- Knowledge of treatment modalities appropriate for children, adolescents, and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual candidates, especially English/Spanish and English/Portuguese.
- An interest in forensic psychology and prior forensic experience.
- Knowledge of services available for children and families.
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting salary range $45,000 - $50,000 annually (Compensation is based on education, related work experience, licensure status, and other qualifications).
