We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team here at Sunday Bagels. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting in food preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This position requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay will start at $14.00/hour but will increase based on experience.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Follow recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage and contamination.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- And all other duties as assigned by the manager.
