We are growing, and we are looking for a detail oriented accounting professional to support our finance team and keep daily operations running smoothly.
Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Accounting Specialist to manage collections follow-up, resolve customer billing matters, and handle a range of day to day accounting and office support duties. This is a hands on role for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working directly with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accounts receivable follow up by phone and email
- Resolve customer billing inquiries and post invoice concerns
- Print, prepare, and distribute subcontractor and vendor checks
- Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions
- Collect, organize, and distribute incoming mail
- Track technician tips and prepare cash tip envelopes for distribution
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Support other general accounting department duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and recordkeeping
- Clear, professional communication skills for customer and vendor interactions
- Comfortable handling cash and reconciling transactions
- Proficiency with general accounting software (or ability to quickly learn) and Microsoft Excel
- Well organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
