JANITORIAL/HOUSEKEEPING POSITION – PART-TIME 21 Hours/Week
Well established construction company in growth phase seeking a highly detailed candidate to fill our part-time Janitorial/Housekeeping role in Irvington, AL (Mobile County). Candidates must have experience including regularly scheduled basic cleanings, deep cleanings, etc. and be local to or within a commuting distance of Irvington, AL (Mobile County, AL)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain onsite manager or designated personnel initials daily on monthly task checklist
- Using cleaning products provided and company procedures to clean
- Using equipment provided including vacuums, cleaning towels, dusters, etc.
- Vacuuming halls, carpets, and kitchen/door mats
- Removing carpet stains as necessary
- Sweep, mop, and remove scuff marks from floors
- Clean/sanitize/dust all areas and surfaces requested, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, sink and sink fixtures, counters, toilets, cabinets, appliances, and floors
- Ability to clean floors on hands and knees in bathrooms
- Collect and dispose of debris/empty waste receptacles
- Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintain equipment
- Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have the ability to pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work in Irvington, AL 3 days per week (21 hours total)
- Must be able to physically perform job cleaning duties such as stooping, bending, stretching, lifting, and being on your feet as needed for housekeeping tasks
- Must work effectively and efficiently, while maintaining attention to detail
**This is a part-time position consisting of three 7-hour workdays per week (21 total hours per week). Working hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each week (21 hours). Office location is at a government facility in Irvington – Mobile County, AL.
