**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. **Responsibilities:** - Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples - Label vials accurately and maintain proper documentation of patient information - Ensure patient comfort during the blood-drawing process - Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Prepare samples for testing or processing in the laboratory - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment - Assist in administrative tasks associated with specimens - File proper documentation
**Qualifications:** - Proficient in phlebotomy techniques including venipuncture - Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing excellent service - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures - Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination - Familiarity with a laboratory environment and procedures
