Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
