Premier Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing, physician-led practice. We are looking for a motivated clinician with Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or other acute care experience who is comfortable independently evaluating and managing moderate-acuity patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is not a traditional low-acuity urgent care position. Our providers care for a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions and injuries while utilizing advanced diagnostic capabilities, including an on-site CT scanner, digital X-ray, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. We pride ourselves on practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Independently manage moderate-acuity urgent care patients.
- Order, interpret, and integrate laboratory and imaging studies into clinical decision-making.
- Perform office-based procedures appropriate to your training and experience.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide efficient, compassionate, evidence-based care.
- Accurately document patient encounters using our electronic medical record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for Louisiana licensure).
- Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Hospital Medicine, or other acute care experience preferred.
- Comfortable evaluating and managing moderate-acuity patients.
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
