Walgre Transport Inc. is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics and Class 8 Truck Technicians for our Columbus, Ohio maintenance facility.

Schedule
- Shop operates Monday through Sunday
- Operating hours: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Typical shifts: 8–10 hours
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractors and trailers
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and driveline components
- Troubleshoot faults using diagnostic software and testing equipment
- Perform DOT inspections and identify safety-related defects
- Accurately complete work orders and maintenance records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of diesel mechanic experience
- Class 8 truck repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and complete repairs efficiently
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL, DOT inspection certification, ASE certification, and fleet experience are preferred but not required
