Field Service Technician
Location: Sandy, UT
Pella of Utah is hiring a Service Technician for a customer-facing role working in homes and on job sites as a Field Service Technician. This is a hands-on position that requires strong construction skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company well with homeowners and trade partners.
What You’ll Be Doing

Take the lead on service calls, diagnosing and resolving issues in the field

Use your construction experience to troubleshoot and deliver quality repairs

Build trust with homeowners and trade partners through clear communication and strong work

Manage your day, your work, and your results with a high level of accountability
What We’re Looking For

Construction experience required (carpentry, remodeling, installation, etc.)

Comfortable using tools and working with your hands
-
Able to problem-solve and figure things out in the field

Reliable, shows up, and takes pride in the work
You do NOT need direct window and door experience. We will train you.
What We’ll Teach You

How to service and repair Pella windows and doors
-
How to diagnose issues and complete repairs
-
How we run service calls and document work
Requirements

Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. alone (100+ with assistance) and climb ladders

Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
-
Strong construction background (carpentry, remodeling, installation, or similar)

Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field

Strong communication skills – comfortable working directly with homeowners and trade partners

Professional presence and ability to represent the company in customer homes and job sites

Strong computer skills – able to use an iPad/tablet for service notes, job documentation, and communication

Ability to stay organized, manage your schedule, and follow through on service work
