We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at our well established dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality dental care and support to patients while ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
- Utilize Open Dental software for patient treatment
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency
- Provide chairside assistance for general dentistry procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in assisting with dental procedures and treatments
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental care
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred
- Familiarity with infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Ability to operate 3D scanners for dental imaging purposes
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently
- Understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow
