We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the next school year (2026-2027) at KL Education and are working with a highly rated school district in the Clayton, NC area. Details are below:
Position:
These positions are located at the High School. It is an Extended Content Standards classroom (adapted curriculum). We anticipate 6 students in the class at this time. Based on the classroom type, students can range from grade 9 to XG (ages from 14/15 up to 21 years old)
Requirements
- Active NC Special Education Teaching License Required
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting.
- Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management, and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of the IEP process
Contract
- We are offering $45-55/hour (W2 Contract) with benefits, based on candidate experience
