Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender\ Server to join our team. As a Bartender and server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing beverages and serving food in a friendly and efficient manner. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar area.
Duties:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Ensure accuracy in measuring ingredients and following recipes
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction with their drinks and overall experience
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol and following responsible serving practices
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Cash handling experience is required
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
