We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on industrial and commercial cleaning standards.

Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
- Manage custodial duties including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to support the overall upkeep of the building.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned according to established standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs or issues to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning techniques is advantageous.
- Skills in floor care practices such as buffing and waxing are highly desirable.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness is essential.
- Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
