Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and develop essential skills during their formative years. As a Lead Teacher, you will serve as a role model for both children and fellow staff members, ensuring that every child receives high-quality care and education that promotes their growth and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity, social-emotional development, and early childhood learning.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and aligned with developmental milestones.
- Monitor and support individual children's progress, providing personalized attention to meet diverse needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about children's progress and developmental goals.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregiver staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including first aid procedures.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers.
- Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, especially with toddlers.
- Strong classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively and compassionately.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
