We are seeking a dynamic and strategic New Car Director to lead our new vehicle sales operations with energy and expertise. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the new car sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and support.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract high-end clientele and expand the dealership’s market reach.
- Manage inventory control and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess.
- Oversee the entire sales process, including B2B (business-to-business) sales, B2C (business-to-consumer), cold calling, upselling, and closing deals efficiently.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing training in negotiation, outbound sales, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through public speaking engagements, networking events, and community involvement to enhance dealership visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automobile sales with a focus on new vehicle retail management or dealership leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in inventory management, retail math, and inventory control.
- Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with marketing tools to support lead generation efforts.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Ability to lead a team through high-pressure situations while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
