Individuals who proceed enter into an independent-contractor relationship directly with Premier Financial Alliance, Inc., not with Terisse Walker Insurance Agency.
This is a commission-based Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity, not a W-2 employee position. No prior insurance experience is required. Training and mentorship are available.
The opportunity may be explored on a part-time or full-time basis with a flexible schedule designed to support independent business ownership.

3. Position Highlights

4. Schedule & Time Commitment
Associates manage their own schedules as independent contractors. A commitment of approximately 5-25 hours per week is recommended during the initial business-building period, depending on individual goals and availability.
Virtual meetings are used for much of the training, mentorship, client education, and business activity. Hybrid or in-person meetings may be available when appropriate.
5. Responsibilities
Following completion of all applicable licensing, appointment, and authorization requirements, educate individuals, families, and business owners regarding life insurance solutions in accordance with applicable state insurance laws and regulations.
Conduct virtual and/or in-person client appointments.
Help clients understand available life insurance protection options based on their stated needs and goals.
Assist clients through the application process and provide appropriate follow-up.
Build professional relationships through education, service, and consistent communication.
Participate in training, mentorship, leadership development, and business-building activities.
Maintain required licenses, appointments, training, documentation, and compliance standards.
6. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, coachable, and willing to follow a structured system.
- Comfortable communicating by phone, video conference, and, when appropriate, in person.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Willingness to complete all applicable California life insurance licensing requirements.
- Customer service, sales, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, or leadership experience is helpful but not required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but are not required.
7. Technology & Workspace Requirements
Applicants should have or be willing to obtain:
- A reliable computer or laptop.
- High-speed internet access.
- A smartphone.
- A webcam and microphone suitable for virtual meetings.
- A designated home office or other quiet, professional workspace suitable for virtual meetings and client appointments. An off-site office may also be used but is not required.

9. Compensation
This is a commission-only Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity. There is no base salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed minimum compensation. Commission compensation is paid in accordance with the applicable compensation schedules of PFA’s licensed partners. Compensation varies based on licensed sales activity, issued business, production, persistency, carrier requirements, and other applicable conditions. No minimum income, typical earnings, production level, advancement, or business success is represented or guaranteed.
10. Training, Mentorship & Licensing Guidance
Training and mentorship opportunities are available to help new Associates learn the business.
Remote training, mentorship, and guidance regarding California life insurance licensing requirements are available. Applicants are responsible for completing all licensing requirements and paying applicable licensing and business expenses.
Unlicensed individuals may attend in approved training but may not discuss specific insurance products with prospective clients, recommend or illustrate products, solicit insurance business, complete applications, or engage in insurance sales activity.
11. PFA Licensing Expense Reimbursement Program
Eligible Associates may qualify for reimbursement of certain licensing-related expenses, up to $750, after completing all applicable program requirements. Reimbursement is not automatic or guaranteed and is subject to current PFA program terms, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
12. Benefits Disclosure
This Independent Contractor opportunity does not include traditional employee benefits such as salary, hourly wages, paid time off, health insurance, retirement benefits, unemployment benefits, or workers' compensation benefits provided by an employer.
Associates are responsible for their own taxes, Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance (when required), licensing, business expenses, equipment, internet service, and other costs associated with operating an independent business.
