Do you like to get paid to have fun? (Yes, it's work too!)
Do you like to care for others and make a huge difference in their lives?
Are you dedicated, hardworking and compassionate?
Who We Serve:
Primarily those with physical disabilities (Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Parkinson's), mental health disabilities/struggles and developmental disabilities. Our residents have a wide range of abilities and levels of assistance.
Our Mission:
Our goal is to provide a home-like environment and help them live their best, most independent lives.
Who We Are:
Eitsert is a family company that treats our residents like an extension of our own. For 12 years, we have cared for those with disabilities to live full and meaningful lives.
Our Administrative team has a combined 55 years of healthcare experience. We've seen and know a few things about a few things. We are passionate about what we do.
Unlike many other companies--you will see our owner/administrator on the floor next to our staff. You will see our admin team on outings, appointments and actively supporting our staff every day--not hiding in an office.
What We're Looking For:
Individuals that want to make a big impact in the lives of others!
Caring, compassionate and understanding PCWs that respect the rights and dignity of our residents
Dependability and availability
Ability to work as part of a team
Effective and professional communication
Job Duties:
Personal cares (toileting, bathing, incontinence care, grooming and dressing)
Household cares (cooking, cleaning, laundry, maintaining a safe living environment)
Medication Administration (all training provided)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Documentation of all above duties in compliance with company policy & Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS).
What we can offer you:
All meals provided while you work; served family style.
Private sleeping quarters and TV.
Paid sleep time 10pm-6am--that's minimum wage just to sleep!
Holiday pay for all major holidays.
Experience & Training--if you don't have any, here's your chance!
Is there a catch? Pros & Cons:
Our staff work 24 hour shifts; this gives us the opportunity to provide consistent care to our residents. 16 of those 24 hours are clocked in. 8 of them are not. Understandably, this doesn't work for everyone.
Clocked in from 8:30am until 10:00pm, then again the next morning from 6am-9am until your replacement arrives. The hours of 10pm-6am are clocked out and "asleep" hours. You are not required to be awake except in case of emergency.
However, full time is 2 days per week and part time is 1 day per week. Leaving the rest of the week wide open for anything you want to fill it with!
Weekend and holiday availability required. 1 weekend per month and at least 1 holiday per year required.
We LOVE to make new friends. We encourage anyone to come meet us and see what we have to offer.
