Job Summary
Join a growing team producing some of America's favorite snack foods! We are hiring dependable Manufacturing & Packaging Associates to help package products such as popcorn, trail mixes, nuts, and other snack foods in a clean, fast-paced food production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a manufacturing career. No previous manufacturing experience is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Package finished snack foods such as candy and nut products as they exit automated production equipment.
- Place finished bags into boxes or cartons according to production requirements.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality, including proper sealing, labeling, appearance, and weight.
- Monitor the production line to ensure products continue flowing efficiently.
- Load packaging materials and assist with supplying production machines as needed.
- Stack completed cases onto carts or pallets for shipment or warehouse storage.
- Keep workstations clean and organized while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Assist with general production and packaging duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- No experience necessary - we will train the right candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Food Safety Requirements
- No jewelry, watches, or body piercings that cannot be removed.
- No makeup, false eyelashes, or nail polish.
- Hairnets, beard nets (when applicable), and other required PPE must be worn.
- Follow all sanitation and hygiene procedures at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the production area.
- Work in a warehouse and food production environment.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
