Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail and spirits experience.
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash safely.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; restaurant experience preferred.
